  Provate-G Ointment is primarily indicated for the relief of
  inflammatory manifestations associated with resistant or severe psoriasis and
  other corticoid responsive dermatoses. It is especially useful when these
  conditions are complicated by secondary infections caused by microorganisms
  susceptible to Gentamicin

  • Contra indications:

    ProvateG Ointment should not be used in the following cases:

    • Viral skin infections,
      such as vaccinia, varicella, and herpes simplex

    • Tuberculosis of the
      skin

    • Acne rosacea
    • Fungal skin
      infections

    • Perioral dermatitis
    • Ulcerative
      conditions

    • Precautions:

      • Discontinue treatment
        if irritation or sensitization develops and seek appropriate therapy.

      • Administer antifungal
        or antibacterial agents if an infection is present.

      • Be cautious when
        treating extensive body surface areas or anticipating longterm use, especially
        in infants and children.

      • Continuous use of
        topical Salicylic Acid should be avoided.

      • Provate-G products

          dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary skin infections, skin atrophy, striae
          (stretch marks), and miliaria (heat rash)

        • Gentamicin application may cause transient irritation
          (erythema and pruritus) in some cases, typically not requiring discontinuation
          of treatment

        • Continuous application of Salicylic Acid may lead to
          dermatitis

        • Dosage & Administration
